Road Hazard Warranty is a popular customer option – it insures your new tires in the event that you drive over a nail or glass, hit a pothole, or encounter any road hazard that damages your tire.
Here’s how it works:
3-Year Coverage:
Bockman’s Road Hazard Warranty provides coverage on your new tires for 36 months, or until 3/32” of the tread remains (at which point you will need new tires anyway).
Tire Replacement Reimbursement:
If your tire is damaged beyond repair, the cost to purchase a replacement tire will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis based on the age of your tire*:
- during the first year of coverage, 100% of the tire price
- during the second year, 50% of the tire price
- during the third year, 25% of the tire price
Road Hazard Warranty:
Must be purchased with your new tires. Coverage takes effect immediately upon installation.
Warranty service within the DeKalb/Sycamore area which includes a 5O-mile radius must be performed at the original repair facility, Bockman’s Auto, Truck & Tire.
*Taxes & Installation fees not included.
Conditions and Exclusions
Non-commercial service includes use by the owner in his/her regular trade or business but excludes commercial trucks, racing, off-the-highway, taxis, limousines, or similar services. Passenger, SUV, or light truck tire road hazard warranty (if applicable) does not apply to tires used on commercial trucks, recreational vehicles, or off-the-highway service. Mileage warranty (if applicable) applies only to the tire’s original purchaser on the car, SUV, or light truck on which it was originally installed. These warranties do not cover tire damage, destruction or failure from fire, vandalism, or accident, irregular or premature tread wear caused by improper inflation, misalignment, or imbalance of wheels, worn out shock absorbers or brakes, damage or failure due to other non-tire causes such as being run flat, mechanical condition of the vehicle, cut from rim or chains, or any willful abuse. A tire is not adjustable for problems of appearance after the first 10% of wear. All Certificates expire three (3) years from the date of purchase or at such time that the tire has less than the legal tread depth (3/32″) across the tread, whichever first occurs.
