You Don’t Need the Dealer
Unless your vehicle needs a repair that is covered under your new car warranty, you don’t need to return it to the dealer for service.
It’s a fact. Ask your service advisor and they will reluctantly tell you that this is true. You can take your vehicle to any mechanic to have service or maintenance performed and your new car warranty remains in effect.
Of course, you shouldn’t take it to just any repair station. You need to be sure that the technician you are trusting your expensive EV or Hybrid to knows what they are doing!
